Aloha all soldiering punters! Not long awake, clear day, clear head - dam miracle - yay! Well, I opened the site to see the thread WANKERS by maddiva, and was disappointed to see no further posts to the diva's mad starter...how I LOVE that word. Had to laugh. I certainly am a right toss-pot when boozng up, but reckon we are a pretty cool lot in sobriety. Bless you, madders. Well I have started Naltrex this morning, will post on the relevant thread about my progress. Hope your days have all gone well. Am looking forward to a cruisy Sunday, might do some baking.

God, O2M, I admire your sobriety at this time - I reckon you are going to make it through this trip. You must be SOOOO excited! Please, please take yourself totally seriously re the warm clothes thing - lots of thermals and a GOOD heavy jacket...I shall never forget one winter here four years ago, I was 5 months AF and after my 6 millionth attempt at light the fire (the blighter just WOULDN'T go and we were all freezing and miserable) I thought "I know how to get warm" I and with a hop, skip, jump and not another thought Off to the vodka aisle I went...scary shit how it is always the little things...

Anyway, thinking of you and ma totally excited for you...

One, do you have an agenda. As far as a phone, can you buy a disposable call anywhere in the USA or something, or find out if hotel charges if I call you. We MUST talk. I have to see if we can understand each other! LMAO! I'm so excited for you. NYC is beautiful this time of year, espc. at night with the lights. You can even get in the front row of crowds and be on national (international?) daily TV shows. They talk to the audience, have live concerts, etc. You'll be right there!
