Good Day Army
I survived my first night back to work and my first appointment with my new therapist this morning. LOL, she must think I'm pretty f__ked up. She wants to see me weekly. I am too exhausted to catch up on the thread, so just give me the highlights, ay.lol."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)

Hey Sea - glad to hear that things went okay. I'm sure that therapist's group us alkie's into a special category all our own! I know the last one I went to kept pushing AA on it but I would have none of it. How ironic that is where I ended up!!Sobriety Date: June 15, 2007 -- "It's not having what you want, It's wanting what you've got...."

I am not impressed AA. She forgot things that I had told her just a short time after I said them. I don't know who has smoked more dope, me or her.lol. She was pushing AA, which is one of the reasons she wants me there weekly. She said that I don't go to enough meetings, and she is right about that. I really have to try to get to more now that I am feeling somewhat better."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)

Naw, Oney
She forgot random things like what shift I work after we talked about my working nights my entire career for quite awhile. Not things that I would consider might need revisiting. I told her that I was there to learn some solid coping skills so that I would not let life's stressors set me back to drinking."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)
