      I am totally pissed off!!! I just got an email from Mike saying that he has been drinking since Sunday (that is when I told him that we could not have a serious relationship right now) Way to make me feel guilty!!! I had a feeling this might happen. Now, I don't even know if I should talk to him. I am very upset.

          That is so out of order sea. A way to try to make you suffer. How long had he been alc free for? If he really wanted to make it work and give it a go with you that should be the last thing he did. Id nip it in the bud.

              Think he was sober around 40 days or so. Like me, he has had long periods of sobriety. I cannot be responsible for his recovery. If he wants to hurt himself because I supposedly hurt him, then I can't stop him. He did say in his email that he hopes that this will not ruin his chances with me. WTF is he thinking. He is still drinking. Does he really think I would see him or talk to him. FECK

                Sea, Mike sounds like a manipulative arse, am not surprised you are fucked off....I am glad you put your recovery before him some time ago. Pleae try not to but into his shite - especially as you are celebrating 30 days. You are doing awesome darlin.

                  He told me before that whenever he goes on a bender, he ends up in the hospital to detox. He is obviously not ready for a relationship with Anyone.

                    P.S He IS obvoiusly one of us (Mike) so is my partner, but he is in jail just now (til next August). You are so right about one thing, we can't do each others recovery. He is in my thoughts, he is sick.

                        To Sea, would love for you and this guy to work out but does not sound like he is worthy enough for one as special as you. Have to admit i totally agree with Limers, let it die Sea for awhile and see does he get in touch with you. it does not sound like he will, but then maybe he should not enter that very nice space that is your space,
