    Morning to you all, Gonna try to keep myself busy today by putting up several little christmas trees around the INN.
    Anyone have theirs up yet?

      Morning Evie .... I have mine up and we put Cy's up. Took forever as i just can't get the hang of doing the lights and ended up tangled in them. LOL!!

        I think I am gonna do a blue lights theme on all of them this year.
        It is scary to go into the attic to get them ....Who knows what could be up there ...A mess, for sure.

          I don't think i've ever ventured into our attic ... Always get someone else to do it for me. Think it may be due to seeing my mum fall out of our attic as a kid. Just have a fear of the ladder!! Oh and the million spiders that are prob lurking up there!!

                Hello everyone,

                Quick hello before I head out on the usual school runs, food shopping...
                Glad to hear everyone seems to be in good form today.
                I have to venture into the attic to get our Christmas tree down but I might wait until Sunday to put it up as we have a kids birthday party here on Saturday so might wait until his banners and balloons are down first and then put it up.
                Bet O2M will have a blast in New York

                      Hey Starting - I was thinking the same thing. I logged on this morning and saw the Army thread was only 3 pages long then remembered o2m was off on holiday!

                      Freaking cold here this morning, 20 degrees with a 10 mph wind made the doggie walk a treat this morning. It's going to be a fun winter around here!

                            Hey all. Just had a lovely proper sleep. Feel so much better for having it.
                            Been having some family problems i thought id share with you all!
                            Now, before i start, i would like to say that my mum has done so much to help me through my problems, both with support and financial help. But, every time we talk we get into an argument. Its what she says to me.
                            Now, i know ive done wrong, hurt alot of people and have lost alot over the last 2 years since i started drinking heavily again, but i just feel i dont need it rammed into me every time we speak.
                            ''Do you know what you have put us through?''...YES
                            ''Do you realise what youve lost?''....YES
                            ''I havent slept worrying about you, and do you know what its doing to me?''....YES YES
                            When i tried to put the point across tdy that i fully understood what she was talking about, but she had to understand that i knew all these things and it was these things that i think about all the time, and is one of the reasons i drink, the selfhating etc. I asked if she could just have a think about the way she approahes subjects, cause i do know what im doing to myself and everyone, trust me.
                            This brought on the waterworks, raised voice and ''So you think im not helping you'' lines.
                            I love my mum, but im finding it harder to talk to her about how i feel, because of the answers i get. I just get angry and i realize this now as one of my triggers.
                            Any views would be greatly appreciated.

                              Well, I am at work just now...bored rigid cos they made me redundant but wont let me go yet....
                              I am hoping to finish soon after chrismas and then i can get my new sober life moving....

                                My plan is the dentist at 5.45(Nooooooooooo) and then try and put back a table i broke last week while drunk(Noooooooooo).
