I'm different, LTG! Don't fit in the squares or the rounds. I still have such a knowledge of my family's history, since my g'mother was born on an Indian res in Oklahoma territory, before it was a state, and she deeply influenced me. It feels like I'm doing all this trivial stuff everyday, i.e. cooking, cleaning, washing, when there is so much under the surface that the younger generation (no offense) can't learn or research. I'm sort of lost, in where I should be. Man, that's a big admission. Maybe I'm so frustrated, not knowing where to start with what I know. I remember my grandmother talking about roasting pig ears in a hollow tree, .... what do I do with that. Sorry to ramble. I'm trying to find where and what I am and should be doing, beside cleaning a house I don't like everyday.

Ruby, I can relate to that. I am making plans to restructure my life. I just found out today that I can apply for a scholarship for $1,000 as a military spouse so I sent a request to University of Phoenix for info an a degree in Hospitality, Travel, and Tourism. They have an online course for that.

Oh yes, OK, vlad, I just saw what he posted about it. He tried to do a whole thread about moderate drinking on SMART... definitely that would be a no-go, over there. They don't say nobody can ever learn moderate drinking... they just say that the SMART program isn't about that... so it would be contrary to what they are set up to do. Which of course is fine, for folks who are clear that they are done with all drinking, period.

Seems he was a bit miffed at some of the personalities over there, too! Ah well, we got problems everywhere in the online recovery world, don't we??

I hope he gets on well, here, and I'm sure you modders will take good care of him! Good people in that thread.

Good Afternoon/Evening Troops. We are home a day early.Hubby has a sick Tummy and slight fever...not from drinking (he did have a Dk BEER in Germany) though.I was alittle shaky but it was his Bday soooo.
