Shirataki Noodles?

I was reading about these noodles. Low Carb and high in protein.

Has anyone eaten them?

I think I have eaten them as I love ALL THINGS NOODLES!!! I think they taste somewhat nutty. Good in a broth based meal soup or Pho.

Save your money!!!!!They taste awful.......I bought them when I was on a low carb diet........Sounded to good to be true, that I could have noodles and no carbs, well it was......They taste like rubber bands.....no matter what you put on them.......

I ordered them from Shirataki MiracleNoodle Shop!

Anyway... they come in indivdual servings and are floating in chemicals. I was thinking... "HEY... I can eat pasta now!" NOT. Even smothered in marinara sauce, I could not escape that strong chemical taste.... it was awful. Its a great concept though... they need to improve before I can eat and not regurgitate!

The grocery now carries them... made from tofu, but under the name "Shiritaki". They taste just as bad in my opinion. Very strong chemical taste.

It will truly be a miracle if they can duplicate pasta and make it actually taste and "feel" like pasta!
