Hi all as well as AA there are secular groups with meetings - women for sobriety, SOS and Lifering. Hope that helps. AA is still the dominant self help group in the UK.

well thanks all! i just got back from my sisters christmas concert it was very cute. now im at my moms, hangin out with my family always makes me feel better. so thats what im doing right now, a few more hours and ill have a full day in af =-)

fiona : i think my childhood has a huge part of my self hatred, i gotta deal with that soon, perhaps i should seek a professional, psycologist or therapist or something. i think maybe i should get some anger management too, cuz when i get angry i just get drunk to deal with it =-(
ill make some calls tomoro, see whats available. on the plus side my company bennefits will cover most of my therapy when i go =-)

hi honey, spoke to you on msn other night, im so glad u are back trying again,im sure you can get thru, u have guts an determination, i just hope u like yourself a little more than last year, ur still trying an thats what counts, even if u slip, u realise an want it to be different,so respect to you an a big hug! xxx
