Anyone still around? My back & head still punishing me for 'making them better' but I do think they will be long term, once the soreness from the procedure is gone. Made myself sick yesterday going to the grocery, even tho I asked 1 clerk for help, she called a manager, and they practically had me on a stretcher before I got to the car! LOL Expensive store, but service is top notch! Saw the doc who botched my ankle and foot surgery there, and he smiled and waved! WTF He didn't seem to notice the cane I was using!!

Have to go, my husband is getting a bit pissed off with me being on here-has anyone experienced this with their other halfs? He made me switch it off last night but I can understand why he was getting annoyed

Just thought I'd stop by and say hello to everyone here. Sounds like everyone is doing well EXCEPT poor Wish, that is awful, I am so glad you have an appointment to see someone about it. And, Ruby, what an awful grocery store trip... but you ARE healing up, right?

I had a tough day yesterday but am OK. It was the last day of the sale at Mother's house; we did not bring in as much money as I'd hoped, after the Estate Sale guys' cut, not even enough to pay for one month's care at Mother's dementia facility... but some of the higher-end items are going to auction; we'll see what comes of that. Then I had to visit her, as well, and it was one of the more stressful (horrible) "visits." I had a fairly strong desire to drink during much of that... instead ate. Potato chips, chocolate, and a lovely smoked chicken. And I watched 3 episodes of "House of Cards."

I've been spending a lot less time online; and of course I have my "vow" of "moderate involvement in MWO"! So, not around as much... but I check in here every day to see what's going on. I'm just not posting much. I am mostly posting on the AF thread and on the thread I started over at SMART. Any of y'all who are AF, come on over and check out those threads! They are very helpful to me, anyhow...

Mornin troops, Great on 14 days Chef....Wishy worried about those headaches...hope the Dr. figures them out.
inn is full but everyone checks out this morning. Freedom, for a few days.
i look to see them come and love to see them go.it's such fun to meet new people from all over the world but i also prize a few days of privacy in between.
gonna do some more cookie baking today and get them wrapped up for gifts.my shopping is DONE, except for the Dinner fixings.
gonna do Rubes PR with horseradish for Christmas even.
Any desert ideas???

I was able to provide my sister with a shower, some tea, and a warm place to sleep. What a great feeling. It is only because I am sober. If I was drinking, she never would have come here. It is so nice to be able to help others.

That's great SEA, This is another gift that sobriety gives us.We not only are helping ourselves but we can be the uplifter of others...something that was impossible for me when I was drinking..
Starts, please don't let that tinsel get too tight around their necks OK??? Are they Guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils or RATS...I need to know...in any case they are a loverlllly couple !!!
