I've been a bit estranged from son's girls since his separation from DIL, etc., while he tries to do everything perfectly to maintain custody. Saturday, they came and spent about 3 hours with me, then we went to dinner with MIL for Hubs BD. Yesterday, they called and came at 11:00 AM and stayed til 5:00 PM, and want to come back today. Youngest one left me a note that said 'I will be bakc, MeyMey'.
Took me a minute to understand she was telling me she's coming back to see me, no matter what, and they obviously miss me. We played with my new computerized sewing machine, and older girls went on e-bay and looked up things they want to bid on. We had a great day, and planned a cookie baking day and a decorating day. They were scandalized I had no deco up, but told them I had no elves to help! Thank God for sobriety!sigpic

It's a Brothers, don't know the model. I have had exactly 2 in almost 35 years, so when I ordered this one I did some research for my budget. LOVE all the touch features, and the monogramming, embroidering. Girls have already imaginged monogramming everything they own. And Gracie (my little horse loving 6-yr-old) wears boots and jeans all the time but found a pattern for a sun dress she wants, and Maddie wants to make a fleece poncho. Taylor pretended not to be interested, but I know her!sigpic

I got a Singer that does embroidering and has a serger attachment.:l

Howdy Do Troopers, I am pulling my hair out this morning....Guests are slow moving and I have a dental apt. at 11am...Hubby is gonna have to deal with them alone...I am leaving !!!!
Gonna stop and get my PR for Christmas and can't decide on veggies...Brussel sprouts (maybe)
glad wishy's headache wasn't serious.MIL passed of brain tumor last year.That has made me more aware to take headaches seriously.Will read thru the thread ...it is moving FAST today.
