krigs...not really a struggle. Erin is going to lapland for christmas with mum, boyfriend and sister. I dont have any issues with her mum anymore, and i see erin when i want. I just wish she had told me about it before she booked it and told everyone else( my mum told me in passing. She thought i knew).
But we will have 'our christmas' when she is back, and i will have a nice romantic christmas with wishy.
Its hard when erin is saying she will see me crimbo eve and day and cant wait to come over(its a suprise), but whats done is done, and theres no point feeling down. Plus, i can buy presents on the 27th(shes back on 28th) when the sales start!! Mind you ive bought most of it!!

Hi Start and Limers,
I'm still trying to catch up on the thread; I'm at p14 now and zooming in on the end. I'm being healthy and eating 1/2 a grapefruit. I'm doing really good but I have no decos up and no gifts yet! Our family has decided not to exchange gifts but we are buying for the children. I am buying site to store this year so all I need to do is get the wish list from DIL (she has not emailed it yet), make purchases and they will be able to pick up at their local store. DIL says she doesn't mind doing the wrapping- that was the only part I didn't like. She has enough on her plate right now with two little ones and her grandmother just died last Thurs so she is going to NY for the funeral. My decorations will go up this weekend. I know I'm a little slow but I don't have little ones in the house anymore so it is different. Krigs

Greetings all. Another wet morning....not to worry..
Congrats on essay, starts - have had a speedy catch up on thread, everyone sounding pretty cruisy.
Cy, WIsh and O2M - Love the facebook thing! What FUN!
Am going to do some more Chrissy shopping today. Just MY kidlets to go now....shall get the lads a funky combo of smellies ( they love 'em!) , boxers, chocs, x-box game, sk8 hoodie or whatever and a minor bit of dosh. As for my girl - god, I am soooo tempted to get something INCREDIBLY un-PC....I once bought a Black Flag T-shirt with VERY dodgy caption....hmmmmmm

Re the smoking thing, for the last few weeks I have stopped taking my packet with me when I go anywhere....I have cut back HUGELY as a result - down from about 12 to 6 or so per day.

I read your posts from earlier tdy which would have been yesterday for you, about the woman who has your litttle daughter....she sounds like a cow!!! You are a Star for "rising above" her and taking the high road.
