        I just dared Cy to go and get the bins in with his Pj's pulled right up to his chest and above his knees with just flip flops on his feets .... he did it but bumped into a neighbour in the process ..... Ha ha ha ha ha ha ... Thats my laugh for the day!! LOL

        Just had a little nap ... very good too. Feel alot more awake now after my strenuios 2 hours in work .... 2 feckin hours ... what was the point!!!

          OK, I know I keep missing all my buds, but I'm here.Sounds like everyone's OK. Son just called, and he's bringing sick 11-yr-old home from school to me. She's been out last 2 days, upchucking, so if there's a germ left in her body I'll be sick by this weekend. Never fails. But I'll pet and pamper my baby, and let her order a movie online, while she lies snuggled and toasty in front of the fireplace and big screen in the den. That's what grannies are supposed to do, right? I didn't get that growing up, but when mine are sick, they are treated royally! I'll be back during the day. Maid is coming, house is really shaping up, and I'm getting happier!

                    Same here, L. My maid has made the biggest dif, even tho she calls me all the time and involves me in her life, it's nice to have things done and not worry about them or be embarrassed about them. I cannot sweep or mop for a month, so I need her, and since she can't pay her rent, she needs me! Works out in a karmic sort of way, huh? Hubs won't come in when she's here, but that's his prob.

                          I know. She is a sweet soul. Not very smart, but really hard working and earnest, and she's had terrible luck with men, of course. I wish I could explain things to her, but she's not on that level. I've finally accepted that about people. She accepts what happens to her as her fate. Makes me think of a farm wife from the 30's or 40's. I can only do what I can do. Thats a BIG lesson for me!

                            Hello folks
                            First an Ice storm, and now I just drove home through a snow storm. The older I get, the more I hate winter. Oh well, got nothing done shopping wise this morning as the roads were too slick and I wanted to get home. I am going to be rushing like crazy this year. My sister FINALLY got her power back on. How is everyone?
