    I am too Rubes. There is nothing wrong with being sympathetic of empathetic. It is a good part of your character. I agree that you need to draw the line tho; you don't want to be taken advantage of, hun.

      I hope so krigs ... most important thing is that i stay positive thoughout this and keep my christmas spirits high. So looking forward to christmas and don't want this to spoil it.

                    The shop is doing OK- each week we are getting more clients, and returning business- but the truth is it is a very bad time to open in a tourist resort and I simply don't have the funds to see us through a lean time- don't know if we will be able to continue after January. very worrying because I sank the little money I had into it and also got a bank loan out. I have a big mortgage, on a house i can't rent this time of year and no job prospects!

                          Hi All,

                          Sorry to hear the 'ol money blues are hitting a few of us at the moment, would love to have something positive to say but a bit in the same boat myself. I think my boss is giving me the run around on my pay cheque, she said she posted it last Friday but obviously she hasn't as any post sent is literally arriving the next day here and nothing has arrived from her. We were meant to have a meeting today and she cancelled this morning by text and is now not answering the phone. I know she is waiting on others to pay her but If I don't get it this side of Christmas I am up the proverbial creek as mortgage needs paying etc.. etc..

                          Sorry to be negative but just wanted to send out some support to those worrying about money. Something does always come up though, banking on that lotto win of yours tonight Wish!!

                            I think if we can scrape through this winter period we will be fine but feel anti everything at the moment- anti person I am working with, anti BF, feel completely taken for granted and just chucking in the towel.
