Good morning all
Nice car Cy - you can give me a lift to an AA meeting in that anytime. Seriously though I have thought about going to AA meetings, they don't have one in my town but the next biggest one, reluctant to go though as if anyone saw me going in it would be around like wildfire, they are all just a nosey gossipy bunch of feckers so not sure if I could do it.
Hi also to Starts, Sweetgum, Kap, One2, vlad and ezzmae - know how you feel ezzmae, jaysus what sort of holidays are those? - mine are off next Tuesday but go back on January 7th at least
Feeling a bit shite today, could feel myself coming down with my son's cold last night, when I woke up this morning I felt like I'd been run over by a bus and for once, not from booze

At this stage a feckin flinstones car would do me. Still can't drive at 38 and it is one of my MAJOR things to get sorted in 2009. If am I stuck in my house for another summer with two kids and no-where to go I will go nuts

Morning all, haven't had chance to catch up on the thread really, just had a quick look through so not really sure whats happening. Still half asleep me thinks. Had the most amazing sleep mind, 9 whole hours of uniterupted slepp, bliss!! Got quite a busy day today .... got the baby this afternoon and we are picking erin up from school. Should be a lively afternoon!
Oney ....... i'm with you on the xmas countdown ...... Only thing is i'm working for the next 4 days, but hey ... getting paid for it!Comment

Good news for me - post has just arrived and yes my work cheque is in it!!!! - I was getting worried as I spoke to my boss yesterday and she swore blind she posted it. Beans on toast for Christmas day is now off the menu. Pity most of it has to go towards the mortgage, could have bought a car!.
Off to collect my little one from school and brave the shops

Kinda bummed this morning - the big storm never materialized for us. I shouldn't have been rooting for it with my Mom flying in tonight and my son's Christmas party at school, but there is something about a big snow storm that is so awesome that I can't help feel a little let down! Mother Nature, pffffff...
