    STAYING POSITIVE AND TIME TO REFLECT ON ALL THE GOOD

    yes I'm staying positive and this is time to reflect on what i have done for myself .. since October 21/07. i have been given a change at a new life .. and i have done the imposable in my eyes .. who would have though that i ..a man that has been addicted to drugs & alcohol.. and to proud to say now .. drug free for now 9 years .. oh i take pain pill here and there as needed .. but no alcohol .. and i have been given the change to show everyone that i can do it not for them but for me ..it has open my eyes ..tomorrow is 14 months and i can say i have done it clean and sober .. and the things
    i am gratefull for..
    i was given the chance to take care of someone rather then myself ..
    for my kids ,my ex. my cats lucky & SAM ..
    all the dogs coco, wishbone and yes even piggy she can be a bitch at times ..
    and the one i really love and yes it hard but i will always love ...
    but wait most of all the person i am and becoming ..
    the changes never stop ..they just grow
    looking forward to the future ..
    stay strong and think positive
    love you all

    best thing about the future it comes one day at a time..

    Mr T, what a beautiful post...
    I am following in your footsteps, I too am now drug free and sober, not as long as you have, but getting there..
    The things that are important now are so different to the things that were important before arent they?
    Its so lovely to read about your progress.

            You are doing great. Relationships are hard but should not influence your sobriety!! I let that happen in the past and know that it is not worth it.
