Oney, just want to say I'm thinking about you. Maybe it's a good thing, in the long run, that all this has come to a head. In my own experience, I have found it way too easy to just allow myself to live in a bad situation, in the same old way, changing nothing but resenting everything. You have made a huge change, by stopping the drinking... and now it may be that other big changes in the way you approach things will be needed. And that is SO hard to do! But you are a strong, smart, capable woman; once you get your sights set on something, you will get it done. My grandfather said once that all big problems are just a "gang of little ones" and he was right; whatever it is, if we break it down into small, manageable steps, and if we consistently take those steps, we get where we want to go...

Everyone here, you know, loves and supports you. Please don't stay away when you are hurting; you are just like the rest of us, in that this site, and this thread, are here for our support. Your place in life is NOT just to help and do things for others... but to ask for, and accept help for yourself, as well! I know that's hard to do, I am like you, I have to force myself to do that, too...

Anyway, let's make 2009 a great year, OK? I am including all of us here in that, of course!

Too feckin' expensive! Where's my government bailout when I need it? I am considering driving out there though. Atleast fuel is cheaper these days.
