Great news LTG!

I'm finally having some soup for lunch, have been madly clearing up stuff around the house, I am STILL not finished organizing and packing stuff from my mother's house... and I am hell-bent on un-cluttering my house AND organizing some things to take down to Florida with me so I can at least "camp out" in the house for a week, later this month...

Here are some tips on making goals, if anyone is interested: the more vague they are, the less effective they will be... for example: if my goal is "be more positive" (which in fact is something I want to do!), it will be hard for me to meet that goal because it is not specific, or measurable. How will I know if I did it, or not? A good goal is measurable, achievable, and realistic. One way to make a vague goal into a more effective one: I could say that I commit to making three positive statements every day, out loud, to another person. If I just say "good job!" or something like that, to someone, then I have made one positive statement... The "I will get more physically fit" could be translated into: "I will finish the Dublin 10K in less than 2 hours..."

Happy New Year's Eve all! Tis 9.15am New Year's Day here, am tired! Big night, but a goodie. Allowed the kids to haved a few drinks at home, and that went well too...I got home about 3am, and not toooooo much carnage! I see someone mention CARROT CAKE! My big fave - I have had times when I wanted carrot cake SOOOO bad that it would be in and out of my trolley like a wee yo-yo cause I didn't trust myself no to eat the WHOLE thing - almost like drinking, probably a tad MORE insane!

Happy New Year Kap
Glad to hear Katrina is home and is ok L. I just dug my car out of 8" of snow. I will probably have to move it before I take a nap so the plows can come in and clear out our parking spots. Well, Emylee messed up. She was supposed to be in court yesterday, so they found her guilty and she has to pay the full fine.
