Zak was due to go to Leeds to see his dad this morning , flight was leaving at 9.25 , Gordon was taking him to the airport and they missed the bloody flight! Im pissed off about it cos I got the return ticket for 20 euros , to get him on a flight tonight will cost 160!!

Thanks for the welcome all, it will take me a while to catch up with everyone.. the army's quite large i see :goodjob:
12.07am here on the 2nd Jan! Made it through another day playing board games & drinking tons of chinese tea with my daughter. Even cooked a bit & fitted in a chick flick.

ok , im off to the inlaws today so wont be on much. I rang Zaks dad and told him and he was very dissappointed but made it very clear he couldnt help out with any money towords a new ticket so I have decided not to get one, leave it till his mid term , Zak doesnt mind cos im getting him a ticket to see the prodigy in june and if I buy the ticket to Leeds I cant get the prodigy ticket for a few weeks so he picked the prodigy ticket! Teenagers...the buzz always comes first!! But I have to say , you would think the prick(his dad) could have come up with something if he wanted to see him that bad!Its Alexs 7th birthday on monday as well and im having his party on sunday which dont come for free so , enough is enough....the prick can wait till mid feb to see his son. Sometimes I think im an awfull fool paying always for him to go over to see his dad and when Zak was younger I paid for him to come over here so Zak could see him but its important that kids see their dads so I will think no more about it!
Sorry for the rant and hope it makes some kind of sence.

Nice one gyco. what a great feeling it is to wake on the 1st of Jan and be sober and happy.
Hope your o.k Vlad. Good to see you. Do you have a plan for 09 alc wise?
Im quite bored today, and cant get hold of Erin, so chinese may be off till tmr.
No snow here, and i only live 15 min drive from Wishy's mums. Pooh!
Read an interesting thing in the paper today. ''Did you know that that cases of alcoholic liver disease in 18-40 year olds has more than doubled since 1998''
And the gov still do nothing to keep the low price high strengh booze and mass advertising and high street supermarket booze battles under control.
Then on the next page of the paper there is a section on detox titled...Focus on new year resolutions that REALLY matter. There are do's and donts, 3 of each. The third dont is:
DONT Quit Booze
This could be a bad idea. If you want to tackle the booze, just set a realistic target.
Only a few people-alcoholics and those with liver problems- need to pack up completely
Just avoid going on benders and reduce drinking to below the recommended number of units per week.
Oh, so thats the answer is it! What a fecking tit for brains!!!!
