Yep, I have white tile too. What color is your hair? Looks like we have some people struggling and some newbies who need help.

                Army Thread 2/1/09

                Hi everyone!
Just checking in. Had a pretty crap day yesterday in my sister in laws, ended up getting caught up in a row between her and her 13 year old son, he was being a bit of a shite but nothing bad really and she whacked him in the face, twice, even drew blood and I couldn't just stand there and say nothing. They may have a beautiful house but all they do is shout and argue with each other, their kids are starting to get out of control (2 sets of kids as they were both seperated, all now in their teens except for one very spoilt 3 year old who is their one baby together).Needless to say we left early and it took me awhile to calm down. I was also a bit freaked as the pressies we got included a drinks cabinet (from the parents in law), wine cooler, wine glasses and wine - god, I wonder if they knew I liked drinking??
So far today is quiet, hubby is in work and I am just off to the shops with the kids to get carrots for the rabbits (are you jealous yet Cy that I am shopping for carrots).
Wouldn't mind taking all the decorations down but here it is sort of tradition to take them down on the 6th Jan. so feel like I should wait till then
                Catch you all later
                xx
There will come a time when you believe everything is finished. That will be the beginning.

Good for you Bandy. That would upset me too. I think me sister would kick my ass if she ever saw me hit one of my kids. Interesting present.lol. I would have to "re-gift" that one, lush that I am. Glad you are having a better day today.

Lord, Bandy, that evening sounds awful, all the way around. Like Sea, I would get rid of all that alcohol paraphernalia ASAP. Those poor people... sounds like they are all pretty unhappy...

Oney, sorry you feel bad! Is it really flu, do you think? That's bad stuff!

Nothing much doing today, glad I got my "mother visit" out of the way yesterday. One story to let you know how she is when she is NOT confused: I was telling her about various work-related stuff I will be doing next week, just to have something to say to her (we really have very little to talk about, sadly). She listened, then turned to me, glared at me, and said: "In other words... I'm on my own." arrghh...

It feels like a very strange Friday, doesn't it? Seems like we just HAD a weekend. Anyway, off to do some work stuff and errand stuff... getting my hair cut is way high on the list, I am getting very straggly!

Have just read an interesting article on the end of the world!! It has been predicted that this will occur on 21 december 2012. This has been predicted by many different cultures, some for thousands of years, and there are different scientific things regarding the sun happening that day. Google has over 860,000 sites on the subject. Bit depressing, but an interesting read none the less!

                        Hi WIP
I just washed all the gray out of my hair. I hope.lol. I have been up since 3am and have to be to work at 3pm. I should go to the supermarket, but I really need a nap. Being 7degreesF outside is not helping the matter.

I find it very hard to be around people who cannot see beyond their own little worlds. My ex-husband is like that. I would try to discuss issues with him about our kids, and the topic would always go back to him, his problems. etc....

Yes, Sea... and nothing can be done about it... they are the way they are, and they see nothing wrong with it! Mother has been like that all her life, I have been reading all the old letters she saved, and can see the pattern going back forever...

I've been studying those prophesy for over the past 10 years and it is so upsetting to see all the DOOMS day crap out there in the media...
They completely miss the whole point and what the shift is all about.
A friend of mine Colin Andrews just released his latest book Idiot's guide to 2012 (Barnes and Noble has it) and a chapter of it on Global warming can be read on his web site.
Also Barbara Hand Clow's web site has very uplifting and accurate things about what's up for 2012.
I have been a student of hers for 20 years and trust and respect her work, very much. Her book "Catastrophobia" is all about the media hype and how they are scaring people.

                                Back home at last!
had a really lovely time at the outlaws, I can really relax with them, much more so than my own family sadly... with them, I feel ok being me...
Anyway, its always lovely to come home and be among my own things...
Wippy, your mum sounds like she tests you to the limit...my heart goes out to you with that.
Bandy, your evening? I dont know what to say, it sounds horrific. Doesnt it make you feel good being you though?
                                Oney, are you feeling better?
