      Yep, that's bad. Also though, don't agree with careless, selfish breeding of pedigree dogs. You know when people breed dogs for 'looks' rather than health.

        The Bassett looks nothing like what it looked 100 years ago and it has loads of health problems now. Inter-breeding with brothers and sisters does it and it happens... still!!!

        It's the same with horses as well as dogs. Used to deal with horse breeders a number of years ago (I constructed their websites and lineage charts were rife!!!)

                              You are SOOO RIGHT Vlad. I showed bassets and bloodhounds in my younger days and I actually had to have a face lift done on my BOOPSIE because of all the extra skin on her for head pushed her eyelashes into her eyes...how painful it was for her.
                              The same with Morgan horses...You couldn't win at a show if their tail hadn't been broken so they held it high...it was sickening !!!
