Yes, Lancashire healers are a UK breed, little like a short haired jack russell but with rottweiler colouring and VERY snappy.

Rottweilers make good family pets with appropriate training, similar to Labradors. Dobermans are just, well... HORRIBLE! That is just my opinion, of course.

Hoppin John is Rice, Black eyed peas served with greens.The black eye in the peas are Coins and the Collard greens are Money...you eat it on New Year to bring prosperity in the new year...sothern tradition says never throw any out or you are throwing away money that was meant to come to you.
