    A Positive Quote for Today

    I love words and quotes, and this one really struck me (from the book The Greatest Salesman in the World):

    Failure Will Never Overtake You if Your Determination to Succeed is Strong Enough

    I, too, love words and quotes River. I especially love Eleanor Roosevelt. Here is one from her that I like: "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people." Maybe we should start a "great quotes" thread. Thank you River.

        I think there was a thread a while ago because one posted there has stuck itself in my brain for when I may feel tempted: It's better to stay out than get out!

          Sea - I love it and agree that maybe we should start a quotes thread. Along the same lines as your quote...."Whether you believe you can't or you can - you are always right!"

              One of my favourite quotes is from Maya Angelou,
              "The bird does not sing because it has answers, it sings because it has a song".

              I'm trying to rediscover my song. Spent too long singing drunken drunken dirges.

                  I think that this quote depicts what most of us are attempting to do here right!? To live better, healthier, happier, stronger.
