vBulletin Tip of the Day: Adding Avatars

Thought I'd post a regular message to help navigate the new board. (And sorry to those who got bumped off just a bit ago--our web host is doing emergency maintenance.)

    Adding Avatars

You can easily add an avatar (images representing you and appearing with you posts.) We're having fun with them and I encourage you to adopt one of your own.

    To add an avatar:

    1) Go to your UserCP (control panel) and select Edit Avatar.
    2) Peruse through the collection and select the button next to the one you want
    3) Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select Save Changes

If you'd like to upload a custom avatar (I just enabled this), make sure you know where it is on your computer and limit the size to 100 x 100 pixels. Select "Browse" in the Custom Avatar area and grab the image from your machine. Again, Save Changes.

That's all there is to it!

    RJ
