I'm off to bed now. Still suffering with this dam cold and getting to the coughing stage now, which keeps me awake at night. Anyone have any tips that will stop my coughing? I have tired cough medicine and hot drinks etc but nothing works.

I hope everyone's day has been wonderful. I put on a movie, am drinking a lot of water and ordered some chow fun from the chinese restaurant. full of veggies.

Night Wish. I hope you feel better. I don't know what to tell you about the cough medicine. Over the counter stuff never worked for me if it was a bad cough. If you are having "hard coughing spells" you are probably having bronchial spasms. Can you call your doc and get some cough med w/ codeine? vicodin also in a very small dose is a cough supressant. I don't get into the drug thing but in the case of a bad cough, the 2 I mentioned will work and they will help you sleep great.
