From my perspective. I can't ask for more than someone who loves me enough to put up with this crap.

From his perspective. I don't know, big boobs, lots of sex, whatever.

However, he loves me enough to put up with this crap, little boobs, whatever.

I guess, just love. Lots of it.

Someone to laugh with...someone to love me enough to want the things I want, like my sobriety. Someone to be my best friend. Someone who respects my space as much as I do theirs.

A gentleman who opens my door and pulls out my chair and holds my hand. Someone to hold me tight and let me know everything will be all right. And financial security is always nice.

Mostly respect and integrity and a sober man would be nice.

I agree good sense of humor a must!! Intelligence, honesty, dependability. I luv my hubby although he can be childishly impulsive and if he ever quits his job w/o another one I will be a widow! But if I could change one thing about him, it would be his procrastination gene......I have never met anyone as bad as him. But since I'm far from perfect I guess we just do the best with what we have.:l

I truly believe it is okay to require a mate to be financially secure, not rich but responsible enough to work for a living and has a plan for putting something away for the future. It shows that the man has taken some thought for the future, and considers you in this plan, in that you would be taken care of if something God-awful happened. That is true love. And I absolutely agree with what Gabby said, someone who sees things that need doing or fixing and just does it. No fanfare or nagging required. It is done. Humor is great, not taking themselves too seriously is fabulous. I actually have this man in my life so I know they are out there.

Funny you should ask... I actually DID make a wish/must have list before I met Mr. Wonderful. And, I made a vow to not settle for anything less.

It went something like this:

Honesty, Intelligence, Warmth, Sense of Humor, Emotionally stable, Financially stable (to support himself, not me), COMPATIBLE and we must have chemistry on all those levels plus physical. There. Nothing to it! :H

But... I may have found him Still early (only 6 months) but it's looking real good!
