    Kate, I've been AWOL for quite sometime, trying to furnish my second home in Colo., you know how much you mean to me, and what an inspiration you are to me, and how very, very much I appreciate you holding my hand during my "toughintexas" times via the phone! I love you, and I'm sooooo proud of you!!!! Congrats, you are the best! I wanna be YOU someday! LOL

                        Just saw this....

                        Kate, I want to congratulate you on your 1 year AF anniversary! I remember when you first joined and we met in chat. We hit it off and connected right off the bat. I remember chatting with you and Star in your first days of AF and you leaving chat and I said to Star, " I think she's going to do well..... she seems to really have the right attitude about this...."

                        Talk about an understatement....lol!

                        You not only fought The Beast and won, but you immediately took a leadership role here in helping the "newbies" face the battle. You have given great advice to a lot of people. You have shown that you not only talk the talk, but you walk the walk, and on top of that, you are a great lady.

                        I'm glad you're here, Kate....and I'm glad to have you as my friend.
