Thats great Oney, so very pleased your eating properly x
I have been on the college website tonight and i'm torn between business studies or reflexology. Was thinking that reflexology would be good as i would love to try something new but on the another hand business studies would prob benefit me more as i already have a bit of background on that subject. What do you all think?

Well, they are VERY different subjects wishy...
The thing with reflexology is that you could start your own business, and work part time if you wanted to, but it would probably take you a little while and experience to build up a clientelle.
Business studies would stand you in good stead, because you could apply those skills anywhere...
But, I have decided that i am fed up doing what I SHOULD do and do what I want to do, go where my heart takes me if you like....
Not much help am I ? Sorry xLiving now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

wishy I have a certificate in reflexology, it is a little demanding as it is very people oriented, you have to learn to distance yourself from wanting to solve people's problems for them if you know what I mean?vegan zombies want your grains

Wish... keep in mind it's really tough to make a living doing something like reflexology, kinda like being a massage therapist, especially when the worldwide economy isn't doing well, people tend not to spend their money on what they might consider non-essentials... When I first started my private practice in psychology, with a PhD, it took me a couple of years before I was really making even a minimally decent living... and that was over 15 years ago...

Thanks all, i really am confused as to what i want to do. Would love to try something new but as WIP said, with the current economy it would be difficult to make a living from it. I've sent off for info on both courses so will read through them and then make up my mind.

I pretty much agree with wip. But I just joined a gym - it is a franchise, and the woman who owns it is a certified fitness trainer or whatever the term is, and she also owns the gym. For me to join, it is only $40 a month, and I get really good attention, and she is a huge help, and a lot of women who live around here come in. Imagine owning a place like that! I certainly could not afford to go to one of those health clubs with a pool and all that, and have individual attention, that would be extra.
