Ive just had a really difficult conversation with my mum...
She was saying that Fudge is our dog now...and it sounds like she will never have her back. Partly because her health at the moment wont allow, but also because Fudge has got very close to us over the last year or so while we've been looking after her...it was heartbreaking to hear her say that Fudge is more for us than her now...and that when she is at her house (both dogs go to mums while I am at work for doggy daycare) she waits by the door for us to pick her up. She says she doesnt feel sorry for herself and that its just life....but I feel so bad about it..its like her life is coming to a close and she doesnt even have her dog for company any more...
Sorry, bit morbid I know...but just needed to say...Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

Yes Oney, I hope you are right and it does cross my mind sometimes...I think its just the way she is changing, you know into a little old lady...and it was horrible when she said that Fudge just sleeps by the door, she used to follow my mum about everywhere...she still does as far as i can see, but mum cant see it....Its definitely a good thing that we have her otherwise it would be so much worse for both of them..I guess its just life changes that are tough sometimes....always :-)Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008
