Hello All,

the following will make some of you laugh, but it is just my MWO naivete...but hope you do have a good laugh though...

I dont whow wht it is called the Army thread? (this is the gods honest truth) Answers pls.....But have felt happy, loved and welcome here...so i guess Im taking it for what that is.

Ive not been able to check on here much over the weekend, but wondered yesterday, after I slipped up yesterday evening and had one drink (truthfully only the one, came straight home and had no more, although we could get a liquer license in our house there is so much of the stuff) if I shouldnt be on the Army thread. I just wondered if it was somewhere sacred for those who are really committed to trying and dont fuck up.

Well, have had meself a little browse this morning and realise that not only am I missing a few marbles...am one sandwich short of a picnic, dare i say one beer short of a six pack, and definitely not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Wanted to share my al fuckup and the rest, glad to be here. Hope all troopers marching along,

Hey Neuro,
You did well having just the one hun, dont feel too bad OK?
Now the army thread? Well, that started about 6 months ago as the AF Army Thread, there was a number of us who were kicking als butt at the beginning of our journey so O2M I think it was, put together this place (the Army) for our support network...The name changed to simply Army when some peeps felt uncomfortable about posting if they'd had a slip...
So, dont feel bad, here is a safe place to fall, we will pick you up, dust you off, kick your butt and make sure you dont stumble again OK? :-) but if you do, then its a 5 mile run, 50 press ups, 50 sit ups and you can clean the toilets...
We are commited to a sober life here but also understand the difficulties that entails.
You are a very welcome addition here so dont go thinking otherwise OK?

Evening all
I had my non interview interview today and it was a bit of a non event. Basically the guy said if we had work which we dont at the moment due to the credit crunchie we would give it to you! Hopefully tomorrows actual interview will be more fruitful so that the $60 I spent on new clothes will not be wasted. Before the interview I went to the nearest chemist and did my make up from the testers and had a blast of perfume for free! What a skank eh! I even bought a tweezers there and then used them in the shop mirror so that I could actually see the interviewer. I got some funny looks but what the hell! I was going to ask for the money back for the tweezers after I used them but I though that might be pushing it a bit!

Morning all. Feeling like shit today, and really need to get some food in my body and have a bath. Just realized I've run out of antidepressants so going to have to see if I can get some more. Day 2 is always the worst for me after a bad binge. I just feel like shit mentally and physically. Why I do this to myself? Right, I'm going to try and make some food.

Afternoon all. Wow it's quiet here today ... where are you all?? Well i didn't get out of bed until 11.30 today, needed to catch up on some much needed sleep. I've had my coffee and cleaned the kitchen. Going to make a start on cleaning the carpet as the baby has ruined it.

Hello my beautiful friends
My spirits are up, but my money is low and I need to find a job right away. I just saw one advertised that could be perfect for me, but it does require a bit of travel. If I could just trust my damn kids to take care of this place Mon-Fri, I could stay out there during the week and be home on weekends.

Hi to Neuro, Starty, Oney, BH, Gyco,Mack, Cyand UKSean,
I'm off to the airport when I get showered and buffed up to pick up my second VIP and escort to his plane. 5 people in his party and probably lots of luggage because of skiing and such. I had a little difficulty getting an escort pass last night but managed it by talking really nice and saying "please" with pleading eyes.
Cy, Glad you are among the living...have you thought about what to do next?
Start, Is this your first Monday off.
Many here have a Martin Luther King holiday....not I.
