My problem with 'hair of the dog' is that when i go off on one im usually still pissed when i wake up so really its just a few days continual drinking with sleep being the only time for stoppage. A waste indeed marbs..

I have done that too, Cy.

It's a dreadful thing, but when that hits, there is simply no control at all.

I came back to MWO after a 5 day binge like that in August. It was awful- and of course eventually you do have to come of it. Really really scary.

Very rarely. If i drink spirits i puke, but my body absorbs wine a bit too well. I just wee all over the floor of the toilet!!

Thats it marbs. I couldnt be an every day drinker i dont think, cause after 4 days my body cant take anymore. I physically cant drink even if its there.

I have trained myself over the years to get to the toilet.
years ago i went on a big all dayer with a mate, he crashed on the sofa. I had just bought a brand new dreamcast(anyone remember them...not very good!) and when i woke in the morning i came downstairs and he'd had a piss on it! Needless to say he bought me a new one!!

Yes, that is what has happened to me- although that only started around 18 months ago- prior to that my drinking was more like Oney's I think- I would drink everyday but only in the evening- it was when I was waking up and needing to drink that the problems really started, and there was no control- however that did not happen everytime I drank, but I would never know when it would happen.

Ive always liked a cider or 12, but i once drank 3 litres of white lightning cause i only had ?4. I had the worst hangover EVER. That was about 8 years ago, and i have not drunk it since!
