    Army thread 26/01/09

Thanks Oney ... i do feel like a weight has been lifted. I know i'm far from being sorted financially but this is the start of something new for me and i'm going to make this work. This is the much welcomed step in thr right direction and will help me get the career i want. I'm actually quite shocked that i made the call and went for it as usually i have all these great thoughts but just let them drift away. I'm proud of me too!

Good morning everyone. I am getting ready to get back on the road, will be home soon. It's still dark out there, and really cold, but I am anxious to get home.

Oney I hope you put Adam to some serious housework today! Good news Wishy.... can't wait to hear about your new Mac, Starts (I am SO glad I changed over and ditched the world of PC's and Windows!!); Cy and everyone else, have a good day, OK?

Ah but WIP, you can put Windows on the new Macs! I will be having both operating systems and dual boot! Don't want to be deprived of my PC games.

Just went for a walk. It's very 'soviet' out there. Horrible. Not like the old place at all. Guess I won't be seeing any deer here!

Just looked out of the window to the right of me - there's some grey factory billowing smoke. Although to the left I can see some trees.

Yes, Vlad, I have heard that... But so far there hasn't been anything that I really needed or wanted that I cannot run on the Mac OS... and I am so sick of Windows that I don't want it anywhere near my lovely new machine!

                  Good morning Army peeps!

Gyco.. I'm sorry for your loss - my sympathy to you and your wife.... Starts, welcome to the world of Mac , Wishy - good for you! Sounds like you've taken the first step into a new future - how exciting!

Hey Oney, CY, Wip, vlad AND everyone else... (could sit here all day just with the greetings, for Pete's sake!) :H

No great excitement here today, just work and a trip to the 'city' later this afternoon - the girlie is having her last exam of the semester today and no school for the rest of the week - so she wants to stay with her b/f for the week. *Sigh* I'm half expecting a call mid week 'Mom, come and pick me up'... wouldn't be the first time. There's been trouble brewing in paradise... and I just get the feeling this isn't gonna last much longer.

Right. Work. I'm 10 minutes late now. Better move it! Have a great day - will check in now and then!

Morning Sea... did you watch 'Burn after reading' last night???? I did... loved it!

Well, I'm here for a week at least! My back-and-forth move is working great! Daughter asked me to babysit! Alone! BIG step for her in giving back the trust, she is the most careful, dedicated mom to be a working professional. I got to keep my new foster g'son, Austin, all 4 lbs., and he is so beautiful and precious! Tested positive at birth for cocaine and marijuana, and birth mom had the nerve to question my daughter/SIL's credentials as foster parents!!! Long story, but won't go on about it. I'm having surgery tomorrow to remove ankle hardware, so cross your fingers I can stand up when it's over!! LOL
