counseling helped me too. so does reading. but I get in these funks sometimes because I hold so damn much in for so long...I have to stop that, I really do.

That makes it very tough...my dad didnt communicate and I am a bit like him...but over the years I have mellowed, with certain people.
Alot of hubs or men find it difficult to talk about feeling though. Have you ever read that book Men are From Mars Women are from Venus? Its very good

Be, my husbo has very little communication skills either. However, I find that the more talk to him and explain why, the more he talks to me. There is only one issue that is still really a thorn with us - his youngest daughter. We will never see eye to eye on that one. So, moving to FL to get away from her...LOL!!
