Hey there! I grew up near you in Mobile, AL. I spent many summers in Ocean Springs. I know almost every inch of that coast from my tiny sailboat. Or at least I did until a few hurricanes ago. I haven't been to Biloxi for quite a while, but I used to know the coast there very well.

I live in NY State now, but last time I was in MS, which was last summer, my Mom and sister said, let's drive down to Biloxi (they live in Jackson). I said NO. I wouldn't be able to stand to see it after Katrina. It would make me cry. So we didn't go. I remember Camille all too well. I still cry when I think about her.

You're like an old Gulf Coast friend. We'll have to go fishing sometime and eat some hush puppies and shrimp.
