And here's a couple of pictures of coot drying their wings... they are a sort of variety of duck, they dive into the water, swim underwater for 10 feet or so, then breathe, then dive etc., then dry their wings a while...

Thanks Oney, GLAD you had a nap!!! I went out and bought 5 doors, the only thing I have bought so far, for this house, that cost less than $100!!! Of course there is no hardware etc., and I will have to hire one of my many various guys to install them...

Stove, washer, and dryer will arrive later this afternoon so I need to head back out and get some groceries... Sea, Cy, if you are lurking, I'm thinking about you and hoping you will check in...

I just called drinkline, they were a great help. I explained about Cy and his drinking and how it's making me feel and they advised that he has to want to stop and i can't make that happen so i just have to let him get on with it. They gave me the number for Al anon and they have meetings in the area for family and friends of people who drink. Still undecided if i'm going to go, i have a few days to make my mind up as the meeting isn't until next saturday. I feel better as now i'm doind something with the help from everyone here. These past few days have been hell, i can't cope with this on my own so again i'm thanking you all for your PM, calls and words of advice. I have also contacted Cy's family as this is too much for me to deal with on my own, that has helped as now they are aware of how bad things have got.

I'm feeling a little bit more positive about things now. I know it's going to be a long road but i'm seeking advice that will help both me and Cy to get through this.

I wrote a post for you before Wishy about how I wished I was better at asking for help- after all these people have trained to do what they are doing and they want us to ask!

I deleted my post because it didn't sound right, but you must have got the message telepathically

I am sure all will be well- this is a journey we are on, and if we can get help on our way we should take it.
