      Good morning all,

      cmhgr3-Glad to see you're right back on track. My first meeting was yesterday a afternoon. It was smaller than yours, I suppose because of the time. Like you I was nervous to go and afterwards wondered why. It was a good meeting and I was on a natural high for the rest of the day. I'm going to one on Weds & Fri. Am actually looking forward to them! Hang in there Cmhgr3

          good morning everyone hows it going ...well i slept in .. feelling very good and now .. what the hell do i do today .. thik i will just kick back .. but i have to say it was great having my son here for three days ..now he back in school learning .. well have an awesome day everyone

            15 days today for me and still feeling good and positive. Spoke to my sponser last night, and he is phoning tnt for a chat over a chapter in the big book.
            Great that you enjoyed the meeting guy. I have found them a huge help in my 2 weeks sober. My cravings have been minimal and I am looking forward to going through the 12 step prog.

              Day 16 in the big alkie house. Cymru is drinking coffee and looking at the wendy house, thinking his painting is shite! He has been sober for 16 days, and is now beginning to make sense, but lets hope he is not evicted just yet, as he is not yet ready for the outside world.

                  Good morning all,

                  T-glad you had a nice visit with your son. I always feel alittle sad after my girls have been for a visit and then leave. But also happy for them and what they are accomplising in their lives.

                  Aprilmoon-You are fighting the good fight and hanging in there. You are an inspiration to me.

                  cymru-Congratson on 16 days. I really do know how you feel about not being ready for the real world. I have very seldom ventured out of the house by myself this last month. So hang in there and keep adding up those AF days.

                      If only, if only.

                      So glad everyone is hanging in and hanging on All you guys 'n girls seeking out AA meetings - kudos! I live in SUCH a small community... I just can't. And the next bigger town/city is over 2 hours away.

                      But I'm managing ok right now.... thanks to all of YOU!

                        Sun-Glad to see you here! I also live in a smalltown. But I've been home alone all day for the last 2 months and decided that the need to get out and interact with people was important. Good to see you here and still fighting the good fight.

                          and sunshine yeah small town are sometimes hard to hide in .. everyone knows who is who .. but to tell you the truth i went back to nc to help my mom out when i first started this jouney.. and i found out that alot of people are going thur the same as me and were very willing to help and not judge ..

                          well count down begins 8 more days till the end of the month ..
                          so HOW MUCH MONEY HAVE WE SAVED ...
                          WELL HAE AN AWESOME FRIDAY EVERYONE ENJOY AND STAY STRONG AND THINK POSITIVE ..

                            Hello All,

                            Happy Friday! Woo Hoo!

                            I am doing good. Slept well last two nights, no job prospects but searching hard. I have gone to a meeting the last four nights in a row! Hopefully this will become my new happy hour! I am taking it all in and trying to absorb like a sponge. I have decided that I can not do this half assed, I will get a sponsor and I am going to work the steps! Hopefully another convert here!

                            It is brutal cold and windy here today, 20* but I an not hungover and I am happy this morning. I am looking forward to the weekend.

                                LOL...ummm... just one month here. But you just wait and see...
                                Who knows... MAYBE in time I will be able to mod...certainly not now. Not today. Not tomorrow.
