hi there .. looks like everyone is doing great good to hear cmhguy .. that you are going to more meeting and finding it vetry helpfull .. and like with me when i start worrying about work it usally just bam hits me .. and i wonder why i even worried.. ..
so lilmea what are you plaining on doing with that extra money .. go out to eat some where nice, get your hair and nails done .. maybe some new clothes ..
and sunshine hey a month is some to be proud of .. god when i was just starting out it was a bitch ..
cold turkey all the way and everyone left ..but i did it and as for mods god i wish i could.. but i love al way too much for a normal guy
and like lilmea says one too many and 1000 never enough ..

Weather is sunny, and im enjoying my sobriety, rather than wishing I could drink. This is a big difference for me this time round I feel.
Great to hear our peeps are happy. Another week and Feb will be over!

I attend AA 3-4 times a week. Thay do not judge and accept me as a drunk becuz they are too. It's great to talk to other people who are fighting the insanity of drinking doing it 1 hour at a time, 1 day at a time.:new:

Good Saturday morning,

Mr.T-I have a daughter who lives in Fl. We are going down there to visit the first of April. I figure the money I will have saved by being AF will almost pay for the trip. I wasn't even thinking about the money I would save when I decided to try and get sober. But what a great perk!

Cymru-I like your avator. Wish I had found it first. LOL

Moony-Glad to see you survived your trip and you're back. :waving:

had a great day learning something new " tile ".. how to and its going good. well looking good .. taking alittle pay cut but well worth it ..
well its great to hear more people are going out and finding more ways to help them selfs ..
AA meeting have help me in so many ways .. just to be able to sit there and listen to other ,their story and what they are going thur ..
and for me to be able to share my story with other..
but only just alittle of my story and maybe one day do a speakers meet ..

Yesterday I had what someone on here calls a Godsmack. You know I live in a small town and was a little concerned about running into someone I knew at one of my AA meetings. I realized yesterday that I don't care if that happens. I do believe in the anonymity of the program. Also they are there for the same reasons I am!
Last-Because this is a small town, I am sure there are people who knew I had a drinking problem. So why should I be so worried people might find out I stopped drinking?
