Sea-Day 4 almost over the hump. Once I got those out of the way it got easier. I never want to do those first 4 days again. How did your meeting go? I just love your Godsmacks or Godshots. I've never heard that term before.

I did it. I did not drink any AL last night while my co-worker drank 2, I drank 2 glasses of unsweetened ice tea. Of course tea here is called the wine of the South but no AL
. She also asked me to go see a band this weekend, but I think I will have to turn it down. That will be cutting it too close for me.

Morning Rog and all to follow
Feb5-Day 5 AF for me. So far, so good. I am definitely going to AA meeting tonight. Started using the hypno CD's again yesterday, and for the first time, did not fall asleep. Don't know if that is progress of not. Meditated for an hour last evening. Started a daily journal. I am giving it my all. I am taking all of the vits and supps. Tessi-I think you made the right decision about the band thing. i try not to put myself in slipper situations. Temtation can always find me, I don't need to go looking for it.
Kit-56 AF days. my hero!
Sea-I know you're having a tough time here. But with 5 days in, your starting on the down hill side of that first week. You know it will get better.
SS-morning. How's your day.
Have a dentist appointment first think this morning. I made it a couple of months back and I couldn't understand why I had made it so early. But then I remembered that I was still drinking then. I made all my appointments early and did everything as early as I could so I would have the rest of the day to drink. It's things like this appointment that make me realize how much AL was controling my life.

Day 4 today for me. Went to an AA meeting last night for the first time in about 10 years and i found it most helpfull. Am going to another one tnt and intend on going to as many as possible in the near future. Think it will really help in my recovery and give me something solid to focus on.To Infinity And Beyond!!Comment
