I do believe in the Power of prayer L. When Christopher was born there were complications and he almost died. He was in the NICU for 5 days, and we did not know if he would make it. My Ex-husband's Aunt started a prayer chain for him over the phone. He is now 22 and pretty healthy. I know that I can only try to live by example and be here for her.

Sea, here we again with the similarities with our kids. My Christopher was born 5 1/2 weeks early and in NICU for 11 days. Power of prayer, again :h

O2M, those photos are horrid! Some look like my step daughters's birth mother. She was pregnant 6 times but only gave birth 2 times, to the girls. She is now 45 and still in and out of rehabs and cut off from the family.

Hello all.
Im back from my first AA meeting in nearly 10 years, and it was good.
Firstly, it didnt start till 7.30 so i wandered around looking up and down this bloody hill for half an hour looking for it. Was thinking, oh no, im going to have to explain to everyone that i did look, but it wasnt there! Then at about 7.05 I saw someone going into the meeting room, so ran over and asked if it was an AA meeting, where I was told yes, but it was a womans meeting! Yay I thought! They said to sit in the car for a bit, then when the others arrived they would ask if i could sit in, which was fine thankfully.
There were only another 5 ladies there other than me, so I felt quite comfortable there. They started by some reading and talking about todays thought of the day, and then let everyone speak.
I felt relaxed, so went first and told them my story. It felt good to be with others in the same boat, and after me everyone said there bit and i listened intently and felt i gained alot.
The one thing that was said is that I should go to as many as possible to start, so i will be going to one tmr night and as many as i can at the moment.

I was trying to do my hypno CD's earlier, and all I could hear was her coughing as she was smoking her bowl of marijuana. She has asthma and coughs like mad when she smokes it, but she is always stoned, always. But, now, opiates. I know my Ex gave her something. I would like to rip his wanker off and beat him with it. Feckin' idiot
