Fick, I was trying to deliver a nine pounder, drug free, during the World Series in Baseball here. That is Huge here. The docs were too busy watching the game to tend to me. If my Ex had turned on a TV, he would have been wearing it.

LMAO Sea.. and fair enough too! I was put in one of those modern rooms like a 'hotel' room where family can be with mother while in labour.. a great innovation and a big deal in the country hospital where we were.. so you can imagine how astonished I was when hubby goes 'Great! I can watch TV!' :H

Glad your meetings are going well Cy. I'm not sure which meeting I will go to tonight. We have 100 meetings a week in my area. Geez....that kinda sends a message. Liquor sales have been our most profitable business in this terrible economy."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)

I feel lost in the large meetings. The first meeting was a Step meeting. It was perfect, the were on Step One., but I had to take my sick friend home halfway through. The next meeting that I went to was packed. Great speakers, just very crowded."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)

Not sure Oney. She said that she had a stomach virus, but I thought I faintly smelled AL on her. I asked her outright when her last drink was and she said, "Oh, it's been awhile" I will keep on going alone for now, but I think I will call this woman that I know to be my Temporary sponsor. I have known her and her hubby for years. They are both in AA and have been sober for many years. She would kick my arse into shape for sure. They live in my town now and I think they go to meetings everyday. They are very involved."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)

Hey Capt. I wanted to share something with you about my family. My Great Uncle was the first winner of the Lipton Schooner race. Capt. Perry. His schooner was named after my great aunt. The Rose Dorothea. Thomas Lipton (tea bag dude) created the race. It is a huge deal in Massachusetts, Cape Cod. Now, you see sweet Capt. you must come and rescue me. It is in my blood."Decide-Which Voice in Your Head you Can Keep Alive" (Shinedown)
