Oh Kriger, I don't RIDE bikes, I watch physically fit young men in tight lycra ride bikes. I'm a fat old lady with an active imagination.

CF, That is so funny!!!!!!!! We really need to meet.....we sound like twins!!! I signed up with my office staff lady to do a 5K at the SL Marathon in April. Right now I can't walk across the block without getting winded. I need to get going on my training for 4/18 walk/run. I imagine I will end up walking it but I would love to jog a little! Without ciggies I have a much better chance at doing a bit of jogging. My first goal is to learn how to run on the treadmill without fear....I'm going to step on the thing later today. I'll keep you guys posted on my progress. I need the exercise to keep from gaining weight not smoking. Krigs

When I quit smoking in July of '07, I bought myself a really nice bicycle, a Trek Navigator, after I did a full month without smokes, for my reward. It's not a racing bike but really just a "ride around the block" kind of bicycle. I do ride it, I can go 3-4 miles at a time before my legs turn to jelly. I enjoy bike riding a lot, sometimes my grandson and I go out for a ride. He likes to go to the Shell station to get a treat and that is an easy ride for us. It's put up for the winter but I'll get it out soon to ride around a bit.

Krigs when you come down to Zion we can meet for cheesecake? :H

Zen, Good Job last night....I bet you are feeling really proud of yourself tdy? Keep up the good work.
CF, I will plan a trip to Zions and to meet up with you. I met with Rubes this past Nov and it was very special....it was like we have known each other our whole lives the first minutes we met! I have lived here in Utah now over 13 yrs and I have not been to Zion or Bryce!!!! What is up with that? I LOVE the outdoors and I find myself almost never outdoors. I think, for me, 2009 should be pushing myself to do the things I truly enjoy outside and not hiding in my house every blasted weekend (especially if gas prices remain somewhat affordable!).
