As long as you're talking about supps, any really good suggestions for weight loss? I REALLY need something. Oney, I'll give you a transplant! LOL

Hi, L! What's up, sweetie?! I feel like gardening today, the weather is SO gorgeous, some plants already budding or blooming. In a few weeks everything here will be gorgeous!

I've spent the AM showing property to prospective renters, a task I HATE! But since I may be dealing with for years, I have to be careful and let them talk their heads off. Have one good prospect for one of my houses. Hope so.

Back from visiting Mother (again). Took her lunch, then sat outside with her a while (it is amazingly warm and sunny here today!). She was in pretty good form although there were several demands along the lines of "You MUST get me OUT of here!" and demanding that I "get rid of" the geriatric care manager who has gotten her to all the good doctors and facilities I could never have found by myself...

Oney I do hope you stick it out about the cigarettes. If you give in you KNOW you will regret it, you will have gone through all this misery for nothing, and you'll just end up going through it again because you ARE a NON-SMOKER!!! Truly!!

Hi to all... going out for a walk in a bit, this day is too nice to be inside...

WIP your mum does sound like a tough old cookie!

I know she must be very difficult to deal with but she certainly does not believe in 'putting up and shutting up!'

How does she expect you to dispose of the manager? Maybe I shouldn't ask that LOL.

Marbs she was a tough young cookie, too. Been hard as nails all her life! But I'm all she's got left, and she's really my only family, so there we are.

She's been complaining about her old shoes, so I got her a brand new pair of Bass penny loafers, red ones, and she is happy as a clam with them. It's pretty rare to be able to make her happy with anything, so I'm pleased.

I had a part time job looking after a lady with Alzheimers some years ago- it was to give the daughter a break, as she had her at home.

After a few hours I felt I had been in the ring with Tyson- totally worn out. It is a cruel condition, and if she has always been difficult well, I can only imagine...

At least you managed to make her happy today though! Must make you feel a bit better too.
