Tomorrow at 9:30 am EST. we will be having a memorial service for my dear friend Catherine. She was a wonderful friend,daughter, sister,mother and just recently grandmother. She was from an Alcoholic (Irish Catholic) family and she always shared encouragement to those who were striving to beat addictions. When my addiction became publicly know last May, she was one of the few who stood behind me. We spent hours talking about her childhood and any time she would mention her father ( who died of alcoholism) I would hear the song..."When Irish Eyes are Smiling".
