Right now the novel I am reading is Val McDermid's "The Grave Tattoo." It's pretty good, I like ol' Val a lot. I think she's Irish? NO! Just checked, she's from Scotland...

You are right your poem will make me cry, but please post it or PM it? I have a site for my and my mum's animal rescue program, I post animal poems there, maybe you would give permission?

I agree with the buying pets thing, but as you say sometimes others see what we need when we don't.

this charming man is very funny but has a dark element to it, Marion Keyes is an recovering alcoholic herself and has suffered from depression and she covers both issues in the book.

Wip, just use some chicken/veg stock, some fried onion, a bit of garlic and butter. Mix the riss, the onion and butter together and then add stock slowly until rice is tender.

Zenny, that is sooo sad and yet happy at the same time, life is bitter sweet, and our animals seem to show us that again and again.
