How do we ask for a forum moderator?
I know that we do have forum moderators now, but we don't know who they are. Does anyone know if there is a way to ask a moderator to come to a particular thread and check out some abusive or otherwise inappropriate posts? The only way I can think of is to send a PM to RJ, but there ought to be a better way than that, or to just sit around and hope that one of the moderator-people is patrolling around in the threads?Tags: None

Dex...I was thinking the same thing.....those buttons are helpful.
Here's the thing.....RJ has provided us, "Free of Charge" a safe place to encourage, share, learn and for the opportunity to beat a deadly disease that is destroying lives. Fortunately there are very few that come here and that seek to destroy. Sad people they are...pityfull, really. There are only a handful that come during their drunken rages........sadly..it is the same few repeatedly!
I vote for a 3 Strikes your out rule.......3 strikes and the member is banned for 3 months to think about things!A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes~Cinderella

Top right corner,on every post, is a warning triangle. I believe this is how you report an abusive thread/post. Hover over it with the mouse pointer....it say's 'report post' . Dont know how effective it is though!Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself!!!

Irish Eyes, it's a "community" thing. One person can significantly impair, or destroy, the atmosphere and cohesion and effectiveness of any community; especially, a support community. All communities have to have some sort of standards to protect themselves, from those who have no respect for other members, or for the community as a whole, and its goals and principles... The "who am I?" question is really not applicable, here. The community itself decides what its standards are, and designates trusted members or officials to enforce those standards...

difficult sometimes..
as i have shown my ugly side!!! people want to ge it right, yet they come here as their sanctuary and may be drunk sometimes.. who has not done that???? If it is continual, nonstop, then that person TRULY does not care about this fine community!!! I am sure they feel bad enough, after the FACT, as i have. A few sharp words in a PM should get the message across, otherwise, they don't care. Then get the axe .. out. :l
Ripple. :thanks:

I totally agree with Kate. To be frank, I don't come on MWO to read posts like those I've read today. There's no need for it and something should be done. I too have found the warning triangle - and used it - thanks for pointing it out!
