How do you beat Panic Attacks?
I've seen several articles now espousing the efficacy of inositol for panic disorder as well as depression (as it's better known to fight). Hopefully some really big studies will be performed soon.

How do you beat Panic Attacks?
Opened my eyes to behavioral health
I take Zoloft and it helps wonders. AL blocks it, though, so i have to watch my act. No bad side effects and not known to be addictive
I also visited a therapist who helped me understand what was going on during an attack and to sense the onset of an attack and then insert some relaxation exercises - both mental and physical.
I do some hypno CDs that are similar to the MWO stuff and they include other mental & physical exercises and some meditative approaches. Also highly recommended.
Anyway, seeing the difference that my meds made for me was truly an eye-opener. If anyone can go from where I was to where I am now (not to mention where I hope to reach!) all or in part from a pill, I say RIGHT ON!!
Now I revisit ideas that I once had or put forth in culture, movies, lyrics, you name it... I have this new perspective. I wish I could bottle it and sprinkle it on everyone's breakfast cereal. 'just dust yourself off and get back on that horse', 'she just likes to be dramatic', 'just look on the bright side' and a million other non-helpful sentiments. Yikes, they are everywhere. And if even one person listens to this crap instead of seeking the help that could EASILY turn them around, I think a crime has been committed. It can be tough for someone to confront social stigma and go against the 'advice' of close friends and family and guess who has the LEAST resources to do that?!?!? The depressed or anxious person who needs it the most.
Each of us who has experienced the bennefits of seaking behavior health when needed needs to pass the wisdom along where ever and when ever we can. Those who haven't need to kindly stay out of the way of real healing. this is to no one particular - just a general statement.
Be well, all. What ever it takes.
