Like an abusive husband or an abusive parent, you escaped into a shell because someone/thing else was controlling your life. People were able to do that because alcohol was the ruler of your domain and every thought. Everything else could be taken because as long as there was a bottle at the end of the night, the rest would dissapear. That is the case with me anyway zen xx

Oh god yes Zenny that is SO true, I was the most pathetic bint that walked this earth I think, self esteem in the toilet, woulndt say boo to a goose, didnt know what I wanted...the works...
I really do feel now I am becoming a proper person (if that makes sense) it is a slow process but I am moving forward at last...
