I just got up and need to jump in the shower to get ready for work. I am on Day 7 smoke free and Day 2 NF. Yesterday went fine without the patch so I plan to continue on without NRT (if possible).
Starty, today is your day to get out of the house....drive just to take a drive, but get out of the house.
Oney, How is your smoke-free quest going and how are the love birds?
LTG, When do you leave for Florida? Can you keep in touch while you are away.
Cy, Good news about food in your pantry and lamb chops on the table tonight..
Wishy, Also great news about the job....this might be a "golden opportunity" for you to advance. You are a very smart person to pick up on that.

Rubes, You SHOULd be proud of your life now....you worked hard to get to where you are now!!
Zen, I can say that I feel much differently than when I was drinking, like a different person. I am in control of my life and I am free to do anything I choose. Before, I was holed up in my house most of the time just drinking the time away. I am now left to face the issues and problems of my life but I am doing that piece by piece. Our problems don't just go away after we stop drinking but they are able to be seen in a clear headed manner. This is all a long process but I welcome the new me everyday when I get up (hangover free!).

Zen,
When I first started my business I worked from home on the phone mostly. I got up, showered, put make-up on, dressed and sat down to begin work. I felt ready for the work day; I also felt fresh and clean. It was a good way to start the day. (I need to also explain that was during a time when I was NOT drinking). I would do the same thing today if I were working at home. Just an idea for you, Zen.
I've gotta get going.....be back in a little bit! Krigs

Hi all. Im sooooo tired. I woke up this morning at 5 and didnt go to bed till 12ish! Going to have a little kip I think.
Next game is Sunday oney against derby in the fa cup and then Fulham in the prem on wed. The fa cup match may be on bbc or itv, but ill check for you. England v spain tnt on itv at 9pm.
