Fudge and Larry have advised me to take things VERY slowly....I think they are wise, so I am following their advice to the T. They tell me I need to sleep often, eat often, and NEVER EVER worry...Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

Question... did you guys notice any personality changes when you started to get soberer? And did certain things dawn on you about your life and people in it? I was feeling out of sorts in my own skin yesterday, like it wasn't really me. And I felt really quite angry yesterday when I was talking to yous... I had a "discussion" last night with one of the people who have been taking a little bit of advantage. I left him, literally, spluttering on the end of the phone.
I'm off back to do battle with the market. Will check in "periodically" (using me toffy voice). Would love to hear about how you all felt when you started to slow down on the drinking...Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

It was very confusing, to say the least. It took me a long time to get off of the emotional roller coaster that leaving AL BEHIND had put me on. I was angry with people who didn't have alcoholism and went thru a time of feeling like a victim. One day i would be short tempered and the next i would be grateful and humble.
After a few weeks I started to feel the REAL me regaining power and it has just kept getting better and better...sigpicEyes on the PRIZE, a SOBER Future !!!

Hi, it's me, your wavering friend. I got in late last night, with (ugh) fast food, sat down next to Hubs in front of TV and had revelation. A year ago, I would have been less than useless, prob a scary sight. In last 2 days, I've brought in $3500, guaranteed $1500 monthly, finished taxes, amended a $500 water bill to $234.00, took my g'daughters to school, visited my mother's old friends, who gave me THEIR anitique iron bed, packed up for my trip, and convinced my son and daughter to bring all the kids at once for Valentines Day Celeb! Am I Hot Or What!!!! LOLsigpic

I don't really care for Ted Turner, the Atlanta TV Mogul and Jane Fonda's ex, but I do love his motto: Lead, Follow, or Get Out of My Way!sigpic
