Good Morning Troopers!

Is everyone good today? I dont know why I am up so early again but I thought I might as well make use of this odd bout of energy. I am going to go into town and get my boots re-healed and then pay a visit to a really nice wholefood shop and get some bits and bobs to make my diet a bit healthier.

This weekend I also want to go shopping for a new outfit, as I dont want to be outdone by Slimeball and Oney when we meet up in Dublin in 2 weeks time. I am SO excited!!!!!! I feel as if I have known them all my life, but to actually meet and spend the weekend with them...well, I cannot wait!!!!!
Rich thinks we should turn this meeting into a sitcom and call it "Desperate Alkies" Har did har har Rich!!! Very funny!
Anyway, new clothes are called for, so I am hoping to get something nice this weekend...

Oh yes, there have been a few people asking what this Army thread is all about..
Its a thread that we set up everyday to fight the alcohol beast and have a laugh, its also very supportive if anyone is struggling..
Anyway, just jump in and chat if you want to, all are welcome here and there is usually someone about, whatever the timezone!

Thats great your meeting up in 2 weeks. I didnt realise. Make sure lots of pictures are taken and posted!
Im still feeling pretty rough today. A real pain around my eyes. So ive cleaned the kitchen and im going to give the lounge a bit of a tidy then try to go back to bed for a few hours.

Starts...they say that a sponser should not necessarily you like or sympathise with, but someone you respect. A teacher of sorts. This guy hosts the thurs meetings and I think he will be good for me. He def wont take any shit, and will tell me how it is.

I have just caught up with last nights thread and I am horrified to see that someone was attacked on it. That is totally unacceptable behaviour, there is simply no need for it. This a friendly, non judgemental thread where we are all doing our best. How dissapointing and unecessary it was to it was to see that....

I totally agree with what Starts has said. I have read the pages a few times, and see nothing wrong in what was being said, yet they were berated and accused of things that I found totally unnecessary. We are here to support and help.
