I have Calms Forte, but the doc kept putting me back on Ativan and the Calm Forte stopped working. I am tapering off of the Ativan. I can't afford it, and I shouldn't be on it anyway. I have detoxed from Klonopin twice and do not want to go back there.

Lilmea I like your byeline. I was out recently and someone asked me why I wasnt drinking AL. I said if I had one I would have them all and there would be none left for anyone else!

I don't know if the AD's are necessary or not. I went off them for many years and stayed sober for about a year and a half, but I had alot of AA support where I used to live. I am new to this town.

Sea-they have AA meeting on line. I've been thinking about trying them out as I really do spend to much time here. Since I quit working and drinking I have a lot of time I'm trying to fill up.

I read a book recently written by a girl who was put on anti-depressants for post natal depression and after many many AD's she ended diagnosed with every mental ilness you can imagine and was committed to the looney bin. It turned out that there was nothing wrong with her it was just the AD's. I really know nothing about them personally but that book scared me shitless.
Do you have a good doctor that you could talk to as it doesnt sound like they are working very well for you at the moment.
