I like my Nurse practitioner very much but she wanted me to see a shrink. I lost my insurance, so can't see any docs right now. I may be able to get someone to see me at the Community Health Center. My daughter and I are supposed to go together. She doesn't have insurance either. I can definitely see where some AD's can make ya more crazy. They put me on Paxil once and I became highly suicidal.

That is a good idea to go to the Community centre Sea - you have nothing to lose do you. Is that free?

No I have not tried online AA but I certainly would be open to it if I needed it but I am doing well with MWO program. Actually today is my 300th day sober! I am not boasting or anything just amazed and grateful really that I have made it.

The health center charges a small percentage of your income. I have no income, so I guess it would be free.lol
Yes, BH, You truly are an inspiration.
Well ladies, I gotta go and fold the laundry and slip on my warm PJ's. Love to all.

Believe me it was that first month that got me here so very very well done to you. That is the hardest bit and you have done it and no one can take it away from you. Onwards and upwards!
I really had no choice but to do the smokes too as they were my major trigger for my binge drinking.

Well that is where it starts with the very first day! Have you got a plan in place? That is the main thing. If you want it badly enough you can do it. I swore I was giving up drinking on my 40th birthday and really really wanted to as like everyone else I hated myself when I was drinking (or after drinking really) but no matter how much I wanted it I just couldnt seem to do it by myself. So I lurched along for another 5 years lurching from binge to binge until I found MWO and that just gave me the plan I personally needed to get a grip. You can too!
